Snaile confirmed an agreement between a Quebec Police Department to help manage material resources (for example in this particular case : police uniforms).
Before the pandemic, this was already an issue because the police force works on a 24/7 basis. It is therefore difficult to always have someone at the uniform counter, the police service could therefore accumulate resources on the various police offices (lack of security).
With the pandemic and working from home, a serious problem in the management of material resources has been raised by the city.
This will be a pilot project for a city in Quebec, to eventually implement a smart locker system, always accessible and above all, will offer a safe option for the police force. This solution can be applied in several organizations to facilitate access to the various tools required to properly carry out its mandate.
