The ISO-27001 certification is an international standard that provides a process-based approach to implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data.
Certification is only granted after a lengthy external audit that reviews organizational practices, policies, and procedures. Once certified, a certification body conducts an annual assessment to monitor ongoing compliance.
As a Canadian leader in the manufacturing of fully-integrated smart parcel locker systems, Snaile serves organizations across a wide variety of industries including multi-residential properties, school campuses, pharmacies, and retail outlets.

Why cybersecurity matters
Cybersecurity is a growing concern for Canadian organizations of all sizes. The National Cyber Threat Assessment 2020 identified cybercrime as the “threat that is most likely to affect Canadians and Canadian organizations.”
In a survey conducted by VMWare Inc., 100% of the Canadian CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs interviewed said their business had suffered at least one security breach in the previous 12 months.
Not only is the theft of sensitive data expensive – with Canadian businesses paying an average of $400,000 towards ransomware attacks in 2020 – having to inform people that their information is now potentially available for identity theft, fraud, and other malicious activities can cause lasting damage to an organization’s reputation.
